How is third shift working for you?

Once you begin to get in the rhythm of staying up all night, it seems like the natural thing to do (well, sort of.) Although, your body seems to just fall into the habit of sleeping most of the day and staying wide awake during the night, does it ever really seem like it is totally ok to do this? What about the "normal" people who sleep at night and work, go to school, goof off, spend time with their families, etc. during the daytime? Sometimes I miss that kind of life. Sometimes I wonder if messing with circadian rhythms is a healthy thing for us. Although I have no problem keeping myself awake and busy, I sometimes yearn for nighttime sleep and to have time to enjoy normal daytime activities like "most of the rest of the world."

Although I've had very little difficulty in adjusting to this schedule, I can't help but wonder if I will ever be able to totally reverse this crazy mess that I've stepped into! What are your experiences?
